I hope you are all well. This is a continuation of our camp hoping 🙂 From Duara Camp, we looked online for a campsite that was relatively nearer to Lake Elementaita shore and this one looked perfect. After a call, we were welcome. Entrance to the campsite is at the Kikopey Town junction on the left, if coming from Nairobi. The direction is pretty clear. Caution though, the journey may be quite slow because the road is full of stones.
Once we got there, we were welcomed and showed where the entrance to the campsite is. It was a lovely drive in the acacia trees. Getting to the campsite, it was very green with manicured grass and a lovely view of the lake.
Camping here is Ksh.500 per person just for the camping grounds only. The other charges are on their page. They have hot water outdoor showers and flush toilets. You can also order food from their main restaurant or make your own as we did.
They have some dogs which keep you company, birds and a fresh breeze from the lake.
